The 'Eternal Flame' Canadian Redbud is a deciduous small tree.  
It has a rounded crown, a sturdy and prominent trunk, and an upright, spreading growth habit, making it suitable for solitary planting in gardens or group planting in parks.  
The new leaves are bright purplish-red; in summer, they turn into a mix of red, orange, and yellow, resembling autumn foliage; in autumn, the leaves turn bright red again. In spring, the leaves appear before the flowers, which are pink.  

The 'Eternal Flame' Canadian Redbud is a colorful-leaf cultivar of Canadian Redbud. Its uniquely changing leaves throughout the seasons make it highly ornamental. It was also awarded the Chelsea Plant of the Year Gold Medal in 2021.
