Acer pectinatum belongs to the group of feather maples. Its branches grow upright without drooping, and its leaves are long and narrow with fine, feather-like lobes. When sprouting, it is a pale yellowish green, with a hint of brown at the tip of the split leaves; the color of mature leaves gradually changes from dark yellowish green to dark green; in autumn, they turn deep red or reddish brown.The flowering period is from March to April, and the fruit ripens from September to October.
